Just a crazy thought because I don't have the manual for my H in front of me, but I think 6 GALLONS would be closer to correct than 6 quarts.

It' 6 gallons for the transmission/rear end, six quarts for the Liftall.

Your guess is wrong unless someone has added a storage tank with 4.5 gallons of storage. The LiftAll was made for small single action cylinders. My H and model 30 loader won't hold 6 gallons with the pump full and each cylinders full on both ends.

The manual says 6 quarts.

OK, I thought about it awhile. My first comment was based on my H being able to run a 3-point hitch (with 2 lift cylinders) and a loader at the same time without running out of fluid, thus thinking 6 quarts was WAY low for that to happen.

Now that I think about it, all of my cylinders are double-acting, so the system was initially low when I added the loader & 3-pt, but by refilling the resevoir after cycling the cylinders I got them full on "both sides" of the pistons, and it will operate with 6 quarts in the reservoir.

Hmmm...thanks for the food for thought.
