Super m disk brakes?

Would it be possible to put super m brakes on a regular M.We broke the Pinion housings trying to get them out to put seals in.We have a complete rear end from a super.Will it work if we change out the complete carrier assembly?Thank you for any help

Forgot to add,if buy carrier you are refering to
differenial case and spider gears you are right.
It needs changed also.

Yes,use SM bull pinion gears,clutch pedal,brake pedal and matching parts also.

Dave are you sure it will work? If that was all that was involved in putting Suprer M brakes on a M then Im sure alot more people would be doing it,what about the outside casting,how would the cover for the disc brakes bolt up to the casting,or will it?I thought you would have to change the wqhole rearend because of that very reason.

Its a lot of work,the bull pinion shaft bearing cages from SM through 450 need to be used in sides of M housing.(the disc brake housings bolt to these)The side housings use a bigger hole for the differential carrier bearings which means the
SM diff carrier needs used to match bearings.SM
and M use same ring gear so M will bolt to SM
carrier.Use of SM brake linkage and parts required
to complete.
