Most of the tractors were owned by a guy & his wife, those were all in excellent condition. The AC, Ford 861, 856, one of the 656's and a couple of the Cubs were consigned. The '46 B followed me home. It'll set between my Super A & Super C in the line-up.

Has anyone ever tried to put the touch control from a SA on a B to make it into a Super B? Thinking about trying to do that with the new addition to the stable. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

WOW! We were about an hour away from that sale this weekend. Temps were around 100 degrees and very windy! Evidently that must have helped out with the prices. I kind of wanted to go to the sale, but we were on a mini family vacation at Chamberlain so we went fishing instead. At least the Walleyes were cooperative for a while.

If anyone wants to give me anything near what that 230 went for, I have its twin and you could maybe talk me out of it!

Mark

The SH I fixed up looks that good, minus the belt pulley and fenders -- no way I could get $8200 for it. Obviously a lot of collecters there, and a lot of people bidding against each other -- that had to be an unusual auction. For whoever is interested, there is an auction at Galva, KS (mid-state off I 35, Sept 16, 17. I'm only 180 miles or so from there, but having bought two tractors and a new pickup in the last 4 months, I'm broke and staying home. 90 or so Farmalls, plus trucks, etc. There is an ad in Antique Power, I have not received my Red Power yet, may be in there too. This is the link.

Need to show this to my better half. At these prices it looks as if I have invested wisely in Farmalls the last several years.

WOW and double WOW. I had given thoughts to attending. Looks like I would have been just a spectator. I am glad to see that the collector market is still quite strong.

You would need the engine block and torque tube from a Super A to mount the touch control and hydraulic pump on your B.
