Inside the control valve for the fast hitch are 3 small bevel gears,2 of which are pinned to the shaft running through the valve. These gears are no longer available OEM.I need the gears and the shaft,or just a whole valve with good gears.Does anybody know where to get them?or get the thing repaired? Thanks for any help.

All dependes on where your at , I would opt to getting a whole teladepth valve and for me it would be no problem as there are several salvage yards that i deal with and get good parts.

I have salvage yards here, but they want to bend me over a barrel for old parts that may not be any better than mine, and they also want to exchange the whole valve body, but the rest of my valves work fine.Unless I can find the part reasonable I will probably hook the hitch cylinder to another remote.

To Far Gone: Like you I'm rather surprised anyone could find a good tele-depth control valve in any scrap yard. The valve in my 560 packed up 35+ years ago. At that time IH did have parts, but the cost was prohibitive even then. I replaced my tele-depth control with a regular valve from a scrap yard. Came from a 300 that burned.

I had a new 656 at the time and was fast moving to 3 point for mounted equipment. I scraped the 560 fast hitch and installed a standard M type drawbar.
