Brother-in-law just finished his F-12 (Farmall)restoration. 1937 metal wheels. Excellent condition, like new. Could someone give us an approximate price range for selling this tractor.

When I restored my H, I stopped counting @ $4000. I love the thing, will never sell it, but it might be worth half that to someone else. It isn't just tractors, I have a friend who had to sell a 69 mustang, had about $ 40,000 in it. He got $17,000. I have never seen anybody make money restoring old anything. It's a labor of love? On the other hand my 401K has just about got to where it was 5 years ago. LOL maybe thats a labor of love too! Easy.

F-12s rarely bring as much as it costs to fix em up. Depending on how good a job he did (some peoples restorations are another collectors nightmare) $1,100 to Near $2,000 will buy you real good F-12s.

NEVER restore a tractor to sell. You'll never get the money you put into it back, even if you do ALL the work yourself and do a premo job.
