well since i guess i am the local GURU on the 06 and up tractors , like said before the teltale lite comes on when the clutch pedal is pushed down to the stop or just before and lets you know that pressure has dropped off because the dump valve is open .If you are having a problem getting it into rev. then there is ware in the linkage and also propably a woren rev. shifter shaft or even a broken rev shifter fork. or top cover . Ya have to look at everything when tryen to figure out what is wrong most of the time the problem is that she was used to much when it was new. But it is all fixable i have rebuilt somany of them that i can do them after a twelve pack . The big thing with 06and up seires tractors and shifting problems start with impropper clutch adjustment trans brake adj. and dump valve setting , when everything is wright then they will shift with just two fingers.

If you are talking about the red light next to the key switch, that's normal. It should come on when you push the clutch.
