Does anyone know what model cultivator is on the cover of the Databook by Guy Fay? I have bought 3 different manuals off of EBAY and have yet to get the right one. I have most of the front set just like the one on the cover, and need the manual to figure out what I'm missing. Thanks, Kevin

I don't have the book in front of me, but I remember it being an HM-250. There are several manuals on eBay from time to time. I have a manual, and it is quite thick. You could set the cultivator up with a number of different style gangs for different crops, soils, etc.

How different are the manuals compared to what you've got ? I have collection of odds and ends, and they mostly interchange. The mounts that go on the tractor are not the same, but all the ones for an H will mount up. It seems that the tool bars were the same (I might have even taken one for the C). Obviously the shanks interchange except of the different offsets. I think that the lifting mechanism varies somewhat. What parts are you looking for ?

I'm not the best at the terminology, but here goes...Front section only...I have the frames for both sides...the outer toolbars on each side appear to be the same as a cub, and the ones from my cub will fit. The inner toolbars are the problem...from what I've been able to find in pictures, they are 'U' shaped. I have a couple from a bunch of 'C' cult. parts I picked up, but I do not have the bracket with the vertical bolt that would fit into the 'shoe' hanging down from the frames. I know that they are not HM238,HM221, or HM240. These are the manuals I bought. Sorry so long, and thanks again.
