My 460 LP tractor motor is tired, low compression on a couple of cyl. I'm going to change motors later this year, but I need to try to use it until then. The I&T manual says to gap the plugs on an LP motor to .015. If I increase the gap will they foul out less often? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. doorman

Check with local parts store for sure fires..They screw in first and you screw the plug in to them..They work as I used them last on my 460 before I replaced the engine..George

Take a plug with you to you local auto parts store and tell them you want a hotter plug by one or two heat ranges.

Thanks for the response. I already tried a hotter plug and it didn't help. I have a 715 Combine motor (301 LP) lined up, I just wanted to make it through the summer before the swap. doorman
