Hi Guys,

The old H and I are in total agreement. We've both been semi-retired far too long.

Today, we're gonna stack hay, tear out two runs of old fencing and clear a bunch of old dead timber. Then, we gotta come clear back into town and unload a plow off a trailer which is coming in on Tuesday.

Well, that's the plan anyway. I sure hope that old tractor is up to the task (or, maybe I should say, "if this old man is up to it"). :>)

Ya think that grapple fork is gonna ride tied down like that? :>)

Is that a saouder loader you have mounted on that splendid looking H?

It sure looks like it. And if so, how well would it work an H with a tri-cycle front?

It sure looks like it works fine on your H and I all so have an H.
I may have a chance to buy one that looks like that. Is that a five foot bucket, about 7 cubic foot or so?
Any help you can offer, I would be grateful for.
thanks

Hi James,

No, it is a Farmhand F-11 loader with an 8 foot bucket. The hay grapple head is 5 foot in width.

Dunno, but guess it would probably work fine with a trike front end.

Allan

Thanks for the info, 8 foot bucket? Am surprised that an H can push that around moving dirt, I am looking at an old Sauder front loader, thats out for a bid. Chances are it will cost as much to ship as the sale price. Guess it want do to under estimate the power of that old tractor, I bought it to do some farming with, I guess I am going to have to put a three point hitch on it, not having much success in finding pull type implements, I guess everything went to 3 point hitch in the last fifty years or so..
Buy the way, do you know if that Farmhand is still made?
Thanks for the prompt reply.

I learned to drive on a H with the stering wheel tied, in low gear and in idle. By 10 I was cultivating corn in MN. I have a 100% restored A if anyone is intersted.

Now that's what I'm talking about Allan - The only thing wrong with that H is that you've been hiding it too long.

Nice to see the old girl is earning her keep again. How about you Allan? ;)

Sure could've used that loader when I was growing
up to load all that cow manure. I still own a 6 tang pitch fork. That's a nice looking setup. Hal
