Hey all! Question for you all. I got the basic carb rebuild kit for a 361525-R92 IH carb. I'm using it on a '51 H with a C165 engine with a C175 kit in it. In the kit there is two different types of packing type stuff. I am pretty sure that one if them is for the bowl drain and the onther is for the main jet screw but I can't figure out from the instructions where each one goes. One is a felt type one and the other one looks like felt covered with a grey lead colored coating or something. Would anybody mind telling me which one goes where?

Thanks to all that can help.

Cheers!

Sid

Thanks for the reply Magman. I thought one goes in the main jet and the other one goes in the weeping hole on the bottom of the bowl just wasn't sure what one went where. Are you sure the metalic one goes in the main jet?

Cheers!

Sid

I am sure that the one that has the silvery stuff on it is the main jet packing nut. I am not 100% on the felt though I kind of thought it was the choke insert but you may be right on the weep hole thing but the silver hard one I am 100% sure on that. JON
