I found a 3pt sprayer and rear blade. The problem is the guy doesnt know how much to sell them for. He told me to research it and let him know. I believe in giving a person a fair price for the equipment. Can anyone help out? I live in the Kansas City area. Also the sprayer is a Synder from Lincoln, NE. Does anyone know anything about this sprayer. Thanks for your time.

Sprayers - Just my opinion, but I'd buy a new one from Rural King. For $379.00 you can get a 55 gal model with a wand, booms, gauge, pressure valve, cut-off, a tank on/off valve and tank strainer. Even comes with a pump mount and inlet / outlet fittings. Plus - you won't have to wonder if something weird has been put through the thing. Grader blades - used ones around here go for $150 to $300 depending on size and whether it has hydraulics or not.

A good used name brand 5-6 ft blade, no hydraulics is worth (what you pay for it) $150-$250. I'm not familiar with the sprayer. Small farm store sprayers with a 10-15 foot boom are about $400 new. Depends on the boom width and size of the tank, I wouldn't pay over $150-$200 for a used 50 gallon sprayer with a 20 ft boom, the price goes up from there, depending on size. Basically if it has a roller pump, and decent tanks and booms, the brand doesn't matter. If it happens to have a hydraulic pump, the price goes up, provided the pump is ok. You will undoubtably have to make some repairs.

Thanks for the input. The blade is a 3pt 6ft blade. The sprayer is a 3pt small sprayer with a 10 ft boom but it does hook up to the PTO and has a gauge on it. The trigger is rusty and hard to squeeze. I am assuming that the PTO drives the pressure to the tank.

It probably needs a new pressure regulator, including gauge, and a control valve with a lever that flips up and down (on and off) rather than a trigger. Best to try it and see if the pump works, be sure you can turn the shaft by hand before starting the pto. New pumps are around $100. You need at least 30 psi with the sprayer in operation. Lines will need to be flushed, at a minimum, and the spray tips cleaned or replaced. Repair parts, excluding pump, probably $25-$100.

As far as I know, Snyders do not make sprayers. They make quality fiber glass tanks. I think sombody else built the frame, and added the pump and hoses and nozzels. These parts are more or less universal and interchangable.
