Hi all,

I'm pulling a float in local city's 4th of July parade tonight, and yesterday, during the trial run, one of the kids who's part of the float asked me how much Henry the tractor cost when it was new. I didn't have a good answer, but I promised him I'd research it and get back with him tonight before the parade.

Henry's a '50 C with hydraulics, lights, and pto.

Thanks for any thoughts you've got!

- David

David: My thoughts are $1,500. just a shade high. My dad bought an H with loader in 51 for $1,650. An uncle bought a SA for $1,150. Cubs were still selling under $1,000. mark in those days. My guess for a C in 1950 would be $1,250. Remember in those days Canadian and US dollar were very close in value.

I would guess at or under $1,000.
