No question here, just thought I'd show a pic of my son,Sam, showing me how to plant Sorghum with 'HIS' cub. This was last Saturday, and the seed have already germinated and are about an inch out of the ground! This is the first year I've ever had anything other than a little push planter(we just play garden, mostly a vegetable soup and syrup garden)and it sure is nice! Doesn't Quite measure up to Allan's Cyclo, though. Kevin

I swear he looks 6" taller than we I saw him in April!

I'm sure you know how it is...growing by leaps and bounds every day. Learning more every day as well.

Good to start him out early. I didn't drive my first tractor until I was ten. Have always felt that I missed some good years.

He just turned 5 and loves when I let him steer. Does pretty good, usually. He doesn't get to ride when I'm doing anything with an active implement(plowing, mowing, etc). I'll let him ride if I'm planting or sometimes cultivating with the cub but only at very slow speeds. I couldn't handle being one of the statistics or horror stories.

Hi Kevin,

Whadda mean don't measure up? Heck, yours is out planting and mine is still parked. You're way ahead of me.

Pretty darned good help you have there too! Keep up the good example; your boy will remember that experience the rest of his life. :>)

Allan

Yeah, he really loves the tractors. The Cub and The F12 are his. I'm allowed to claim the H, but the disc plows are his, and he says the Regular is his sister's. He doesn't have a sister, so I guess the wife and I have some 'work' to do!
