What is the difference between old style front rims and new style front rims for a farmall A? Is one bolted on and the other clamped on ?

I don't believe the lug rims were an option. The early tractors have clamp on rims and the later ones have a different wheel with the bolt-on rims. I have wished many times they were interchangeable. It always seems the only spare I have is to wrong one.

The adjustable wheels probably weren't available at first. The 9/1/41 price list has adjustable front wheels, factory installed for $3.75.

I don't know about any old or new style. There were standard fixed (loose lug) rims and optional adjustable (riveted lug) rims.
