I am about to replace a lot of gaskets, all fluids, etc in my 53 farmall. Any advice on what type gasket sealers (if any) to use? Any gaskets I shouldn't use sealer on? Any other useful advice on how to go about this in a somewhat orderly manner? Things to look out for?
Appreciate the help!

A lot of Mechanics around here use some stuff call Right Stuff. It works GREAT you can get it in a caulk type tube. Its great for valve cover gastets and oil pans and just about any other paper gasket.

Hi Bill, Well there are a lot of gaskets in that tractor! It depends which gaskets your talking about. For example, on my oilpan, I use Permatex Sealer with the brush in the can. If your talking about the touch control and associated gaskets, I use a spray on sealer so as not to get too much bleedout when tightening the mating part. There are also alot of seals in that tractor also. It depends how far you want to go with stopping all those leaks. Hope this helps!
