Ok, im trying to get my M ready for paint and noticed that when i loaded it off the trailer a couple weeks ago at a tractor pull, oil was leaking out the front of the crankshaft. I imagine that i have a seal out. How hard is this to change? Do i have to pull the whole motor?
Thanks guys!

You can pull grille, radiator, damper pulley and timing gear cover so you can replace that seal.
That damper pulley probably has a groove worn
where that seal rubs that area.

You may need to install a speedi-sleeve on your damper pulley so the new seal has a new surface
to contact. Chicago-Rawhide has the speedi-sleeves and new seal. Any problem finding a CR
dealer call 1-800-882-0008. Hal
