I was just curious if anybody might have an old T/A laying around for parts?I recently replaced the T/A and the roller bearing on the transmission input shaft.I guess I didn"t get all the rollers out of the bottom,to make a long story short I took my daughter for a ride today and after about a hour of riding the tractor made a big crunch down inside,I took the little inspection cover off under the battery trayand sure enough the cup gear on the back side of the T/A that drives the transmission had a few teeth gone.(About made me sick)since I"ve rebuilt the engine put a new clutch and T/A set-up and now this.Is this gear made to the shaft or the bigger gear in front of it,I believe it is the secondary gear that is in front but I aint sure.If you have any of these parts for sale slide me an e-mail,farmallpuller@peoplepc.com thanks.

Most of these TA assemblies are being turned back in for core charge to the rebuilders. We have been using Hy-Capacity remans the last few projects and are satisfied at this time. They may also sell just the parts you need. If you have a dealer near you or can call them for info they may be able to help. I don't know about the wisdom of putting in someone else's throwaway or used parts in that rebuilt one of yours. I don't find this all that much fun taking these things apart more than once.
