F-14 intake/exhaust manifold questions

i"m starting to get my F-14 engine back together and am working on the manifold. obviously both the intake and exhaust are pretty rusty (no holes that i see though). the exhaust actually looks pretty good. the intake manifold has a split on the outside of one of the bolt holes along the end that faces away from the engine. at this point i have the four nuts off that hold the two manifolds together, but the parts will not separate. i have the entire assembly running through the electrolysis tank.

i have two questions. since i don"t see any holes, and the thing is rusted together into one piece, should i not tempt fate and just re-bolt it back on without trying to take it apart? or should i get new reproduction manifolds (if so, who sells them)? i doubt i"d find an original manifold in much better than mine, and mine is free, if you know what i mean.

You are tempting fate to pull it apart. I wouldn't and haven't. If wounds are pressent I have used exhaust cement to patch. It works very well.
