Just replaced the Super C wide front under the 240 with a narrow front. Thinking of selling the wide front. Anyone know what they've been selling for lately? It's in better shape than most, comes with wheels and tires that are about 75%.

Where are you located. I have been wanting to buy a wide front Super C. I could find a narrow front tractor a lot easier if I had your front end. My E-mail is open if you're interested in dropping me a line. I'll be back in tomorrow night.
Thanks
Paul

KB,

I bought a wide front off a super C for a restoration job a couple of years ago...think I paid $500 for it, but I'm not positive. It was not in great shape -- the tie rods were shot. Thinking back on it, and knowing more now than I did then, $500 seems a little steep for one in the condition that I got. (I think I ended up dropping a couple of hundred on getting new tie rods fabricated and new ends. I hard a heck of a time finding replacements, and I finally gave up and had my machine shop guy help me out. So, if you've got a good set on that WFE, it would increase its value...at least in my mind.)

Here's one that sold recently on a certain web site. I would guess between $300 and $700 depending on condition. I bought one last year in exellent condition, tight tie rods, spindles, no welds for $475. Depends on if you find someone nearby that really wants one I guess.
