Im wondering which series carb I have. Its stamped 10514A. The tractor is a 49 Super A and the float level for a series 61-67-68-161-267 is supposed to be 1 5/32. For series 62 1 39/64. Im measuring about 1.315 without bending anything yet. CNKS or any other experts out there? Thanks!

10514 is a 161 X 7 according to the I&T manual, The IH manual says the float is supposed to be set at 1 5/32 with the throttle body upside down. Your reading of 1.315 or 1 10/32 is about 5/32 off if my math is correct?? So you will run lean with that setting. That carb tends to run rich anyway, unless you really use the tractor.

The only thing I can tell you is be carefull on where you get your info the IT manual is wrong on some of the float adjustments. JON
