Was haulin a pig roaster with my B ,wich is runin smooth as a baby's bottom thanks to some of you folks helpfull hints.Any ways I see this ole boy usein a brush hog behind a C and I pulled off the side of the road and shut Bonnie Jean off just ta listen fer a minute.That C sounded about as smooth as the phrase , Honey I just bought another tractor dose round my house. How smooth should a C be able ta run ? thanks Fred

My 52 Super C purrs like a kitten. In fact, in a group of about a dozen Farmalls my buddies & I own and play with, it runs the smoothest by far. Sometimes you just get lucky.

I have an A and a Super C and both are running in top shape yet I think the Super sounds better. with that distributer I can get mine to idel around 350 RPMs sound sweet!

My 300U can idle VERY low,even right after 1st start up.However,when it idles that low,one of those Champion spark plugs shows a misfire occasionally(pop....pop).Once I change them out I hope for an almost silent idle.....putt....putt....
