Mike: I remember well the first time you posted on YT about this Farmall Super A you were going to restore. You've certainly done an excellent job. Enjoy the Super A.

Hi Mike,

Haven't seen a set of those old beet knives in years.

Is it just the picture angle or why are you walking on the row?

Maybe it is just the way the camera angle is, but it sure looks like the rear tire is walking right between the two knives. :>)

Nice job on the tractor,

Allan

Allan- Yes that is the camera angle, and those are what we call tender plant knives here. I included a photo of a bunch of different knives, beet knives included. They have a bit more sweep on the wing, the tender plant knives have kind of a built in sheild and seem to work real well and dont bury the plants. Also pictured are some Alabama sweeps I intend to try out with a set of sheilds, and a set of small disks that must wotk for something. These tools are getting harder to find around here and I snap up all the clamps etc I find. There are alot of truck farms in this area, certified organic, selling at farmers markets etc. There is a real need for more SA and Allis G parts.
Best wishes
Mike Peroni
