We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Delmarva) and are looking for a Super M-TA in driving distance. We are looking for one that was not modified and is original. We are also asking that it has a legible serial plate (condition of plate is not important as long as we can get a serial off of it to have another plate printed). If anyone can help us, please email us! Thanks!

Is Massachusetts too far to travel. I have seven SMTAs, two of which are available for sale.

Keep the old serial number tag.

Lancaster Farming is a good idea, check the sale bills for farm auctions, as is watching the classified and photo ads on this site.
Super MTA's are available in this area from time to time, but you will have to be quick if a decent, original one comes up for sale. If the price is right, it will go fast.
You could give Leaman's Tractor Parts in Refton a call and ask them to keep you in mind if they get one in. Have your pocketbook full and be ready to empty it.

BTW, thanks for coming to our show, hope you didn't get too wet Saturday.

We are fully prepared to pay for one (reasonable now, nothing obscene!!). They are practically non-existant on Delmarva but in other areas, we hear that they are a bit more plentiful and that is why we are prepared to travel if we have to. Yes we did enjoy the show last weekend. We left just as the bottom fell out!! After the show, Saturday, we picked a Oliver 77 Diesel near Breezewood that we won off of ebay. We will probably attend the show in August. Thanks!

Did you check with Hoober Equipment? They have
two places in PA and two in DE. Call Lancaster Farm Journal for a courtesy (free) copy of their paper. They have a lot of tractors advertised in there. 717-626-1164 Hal

Thanks but in our area I don't believe Hoober deals in antique tractors and we have been told to look in the Lancaster Farmer. We were just up there this weekend for the IH show (we took our Super M). Thanks again!
