Have an H here with a stuck motor. I tried putting tranny fluid in the cylinders and turning it with a large wrench. Problem is that I still could not turn it. Any solutions?

Definately take the head off.We have an old formula the father in law came up with ,it works well.Get a gallon of liquid WD 40,1 qt of tranny fluid, and one medium sized can of brake fluid, comind these ingreediants and shake befor fillin the cylinders with it.We have broke free a good may engines with this formula ,some time and alot of elbow grease. Workin the crank backward and forward and one engine ,6 cylinder Herculese we had to use heat on the block . Just invest some time in it a prayer er two will help also. Good luck . Fred

I would not hesitate to tear it down. I've never been sorry yet. the cylinders are always full of rust, mouse nests and worse. Unless I can break a motor free by gently rocking I would never try to start it without tearing it down.

Where do I start tearing it down? Do I want to take the head off and look down into the cylinders?

That's where I'd start.

Have you tried to use the starter?? The starter will turn it over even when you can't. I know that for a fact, Have an H that was stuck, filled it with tranny fluid as you have. I put a large pipe wrench on the hand crank and jumped up and down on it but it would not move. I then hooked up a 12 volt battery to the starter and it turned over. My weights around 160lbs and the pipe wrench was a 24 inch one, so you see the starter has more power then you do

Maybe tow it and then pop the clutch? However, this can break other things, and usually if the rings are rusted that badly, they will burn oil/pump oil from then on....
