I just picked up a 44 H that is an all fuel model (at least I think so, it does not have X1 after serial number) It has 2 fuel tanks, one small, and then the regular one. and it has a different manifold on it. I know I need to get a manual to answer my questions, but what all kinds of fuel will this thing run on? will it do diesel?

Depends on whether it has a kerosene or distillate engine. Distillate is no longer available, some people use kerosene as a demonstration or out of curiousity. On a practicle basis just use gasoline. The small gasoline tank was used to start the tractor, which was then run until hot, at which time it was switched over to the other fuel. Your tractor will run just fine on gas. I don't think it will run on diesel -- even if it does you still don't have a true "compression firing" diesel.
