Can anyone tell me what a 1939 H worth? I had a guy ask me yesterday if I would sell it but have no idea what it is worth. This is my first tractor and dont know much about them. The tractor is in good condition and runs good. I use it frequently and starts everytime. Any help would be appreciated. I live in the Kansas City, Kansas area. Thank you.

a '39 h is worth more than a later h because of the '39 features. [$400 seat] it would be more desirable to a collector than say a '42 or'43 model.

If you use it frequently, why do you want to sell it? Aside from that, a 39 is worth no more than any other H, the price depends solely on the condition of the tractor. An H with excellent tires, sheet metal, paint and good mechanical condition could fetch close to $2,000. At the other end of the scale is a tractor that runs good but the tires are just fair and the tractor needs some work plus a paint job, probably $600 to $800.

Thanks for your reply. I am thinking about getting rid of it because I have alot of trees that I have to mow under. I keep hitting the stack on the branches. I am also looking for a 3pt that is already on the tractor.

I understand, sometimes an H just isn't the right tractor for the job at hand, and buying a tractor with a factory 3 point is much better than adding one to your H.
