Where can I find info on fuel injectors and how the govenor handles the increase in load? This is a general question on fuel injectors and govenors. I'm looking for a 'forum' or tutorial on fuel injectors and govenors.

Thanks Bob

The very best book I've found on the subject is titled "Diesel Fuel Injection" and was written by Bosch Corporation. It covers the principles of many different types of fuel injection and governor systems without all the heavy engineering math. The book is about 8"x10" and has a green cover with white lettering. Good Luck!

I have bought a number of good diesel system books second-hand on ebay for quite reasonable prices. Some are trade-school textbooks with a LOT of detailed information.

There are IH Blue Ribbon Service Manuals covering the systems used on IH tractors. These are available from Binder Books, or come up on ebay from time to time.
