Which loader is that you have on your H? Is that the standard bucket that comes with it? Will it fit an M? What are the odds I can find one of them in MI? What should I expect to pay for one?

Thank you for your time,
Anthony.

I have a Farmhand F19A mounted on a 1946 H. My users manual shows it mounted on a M.

Hi Tony,

Like Casey says, out here the Farmhands are the mainstay of loaders, or at least "they were". They are all over the derned place. You have to be careful not to trip over one with every step.

Mine has the standard 8' bucket; they could be bought in sizes ranging all the way from 4' to 8'.

The F-11 will fit any tractor H up thru the 656 with absolutely no modification whatsoever. It is a simple bolt on deal.

The frontcover splitpoint came in the H at 342xxx (as I remember) sometime in the 1950 model year; I imagine the Ms were at about the same time.

i'm not sure where allen's at cause he's usually pretty quick to answer....??? anyways he has a F-11 on his H and yes, it will fit like a champ on your M. i don't know about michigan but out here on the plains F-11's are as comman as grass, prairie dogs and coyotes. i'm not sure on the hydraulic question but i think that as an 350 is to an H a 450 is to an M? maybe a set-up of a 450 would work? i don't know for sure.

My M's a '45. Haven't I heard y'all mention something about having to change out the timing gears/cover to put on live hydraulics? What year did they come factory with the heavier gears?

Thanks,
Anthony.
