After I got through liming and planting, it rained. Had to show off my field, this is my second year planting it. I't took a lot of work to get the field to this point. Lots of fun.

Nice job and a fine looking tractor & disc.
it appears you need to reset the pitch on the disc gangs for a bit sharper "cut". I can see the soil is not getting "turned over". I can't quite see the ratcheting devise to set the pitch but usually it is by pulling an arm up and then backing the disc up until it is set. Otherwise, have fun. looks like beautiful country you are in.

I usually go all the way with the pitch. It does look like It's not all the way in the pictures. Maybe it slid down when I was setting it and I didn't notice it. I also think I need some weight in the front. Not bad for a set of discs I got for $60. they work pretty good. The only thing that would be nicer is if I had a set of transport discs. That way I could take them to my neighbors field.

Great-looking rig and field. Beautiful hills in the background. Where are you located?

I'm in NY on the north east side of the Catskill mountains. That's them in the back ground. It's kind of central NY.

Drove through there about eight years ago in a Uhaul towing a mini-van on a trailer from Boston to Alabama, quick trip, going the back way. Beautiful country. Always wanted to revisit. Maybe some day.
