source for manifold studs?

I'm looking to replace the six manifold studs on my Farmall M and am having some trouble locating a supplier. The studs are about 2" with a coarse thread for the head side and a fine thread for the nuts clamping down the manifold.

My usual parts supplier has substituted bolts with a coarse thread for the part but I'd really rather use studs, for all the usual reasons. Local parts suppliers can't seem to make a match on them. Anyone know a source?

Thanks,

greg

I bought carb/manifold studs for my Super A at the John Deere dealer for 50c each. I believe they would also have manifold/engine studs too.
They were fine/course studs.

Last time I had to replace studs, the parts store had an assortment and was able to order the ones that he didn't have in stock.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. It's a little unsettling that their web site has expired, however.

try NAPA. Hal

You can go to a tsc and buy some strong round stock metal rods and tap the ends.

I would only make them if they were not available
for purchase. Too many places have them. Hal
