I have a 1959 cub low-boy with a 59 in. belly mower. I think the mower is a Pennington Mower. I cannot find blades for this mower. HELP!! needed in locating a blade that will work on this mower would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

A suitable blade is probably as close as your local machinery dealer, hardware store, Tractor Supply, like El Toro says. All you've got to do is take a blade with you and find a close match. Doesn't have to be perfect; close is close enough.

We had a saying when I was with the government.
It's close enough for government work. Hal

Do you have a model number from the mower? Are you sure it's a Pennington? How many blades and length? Your local IH dealer may be able to find
blades that you can use. Pull one off and take to a dealer. Those 59" mowers were very popular
for the Cub's. Need a little more info. Hal

The pennington mower model number is 625B. It is a 3 blade 59 inch mower. Blades are 19 3/4 inches long. unfortunately I do not have a local IH dealer.

Is there a name tag on the mower where Pennington is or was located. I called a dealer in Pa and he has blades for Wood's rotary mowers. What size is the mounting hole or holes in the blades?
I can call them again on Monday to see if they have any blades that may fit. I need that hole
size before I call. What size bolt or bolts
would be helpful. My 42-inch mower has 3 blades
and each are held on with 2 bolts, the bolt size is 3/8-NC. Hal

Since I do not know what state you live in I'll
give you the website for Woods mowers. You should be able to find a dealer near you. Hal

Woods rotary mower blades are 19 7/8" long with a 5/8" center hole. Would these be too long? You could have a 5/8 X 1/2 bushing made to keep the blades centered. Hal
