I need a service manual for this unit. In the mean time can someone tell me, theres a rod that runs the width of the planter, its a 4 row, there are gears on this rod that mesh with gears on a rod going back to the seed hoppers, How are these gears held in place? How are they held to the rod? Ive got one set that arent meshing together. Thanks in advance for any help, Lou

Kind of foggy on this one as it has been about 15 years since I ran one. It seems to me that was a hexagonal shaft running across the planter but I can’t remember if there were collars and set screws to adjust those gears or if they were held in mesh by a housing. I’m just trying to get you a couple ideas…

I probably have an owner’s manual for that planter. E-mail me if you are interested.
