Before I tear it down only to find out I cant resleeve it myself. Can I resleeve it myself? I am a fairly good mechanic, just unfamiliar with IH's. I have acces to a welder, torches, etc etc. And any tips for removing the sleeves if I am able to do it myself??

I was wondering why no sleeve kit was offered for them. Check with your local machine shop to see if new oversize pistons are available. Hal

The C175 gas engine used in the 464 tractor is a non sleeved engine. If it worn badly, you will have to have it bored oversize with new matching pistons. I'm not sure if it can be bored oversize and resleeved to standard or not.

To remove those sleeves you need a sleeve puller.
You may be able to rent one. You should buy a shop manual that covers that tractor too. This will give you all the tolerances and torque specs.
If you're going to pull the engine this would be a good time to have the engine cooked and new cam bearings installed. You could also have the old sleeves pulled too. Then you could replace the clutch if needed. Hal
