Can anyone tell me how to check if my 6 volt Super A is charging? The amp meter shows 0 which would indicate it isnt but the meter could be bad also. Thank you for your help.

Go to page 3 on this forum and look for a posting
on a Farmall M with charging problems. Click on to Bob M's response. His troubleshooting chart
web site is on there for troubleshooting generators and regulators. You can run off a copy, very easy to follow. Hal

Start it up and pull a battery cable, if it dies its no chargeing if it keeps running it is. Don't leave it off for more then a moment as it could cause other problems. Or if you have a volt meter start it and check what voltage you have across the battery, if 6 volt it should read 7-8 volts if 12 volt system it should read 13-14 volts
