I've got my M up and going, but I need some new or better tires. What tire would be best for light work and litle heavy pulling? The old ones are 11-38. Are these right size for M? What should I expect to pay for new or used tires?

Just put 13.6x38 on my H there the same size on an M and cost 300 with new tube and cal. fluid for each one. I took them the old rim and tire, they dismounted the old and mounted the new for that price. That was from local truck/farm/car tire shop. Les schwab tire shop wanted 425 for same thing. you need to shop around. The two shop are only about 5 miles apart

13.6 x 38 with 45 degree lugs is correct and looks best imho. Several sizes were optional but to me, anything over 13.6 usually looks too big and 23 degree lugs look too modern.

If they are still available in your area the 14.9-38 make a great match for an old M. They fit well on the 12 inch rim and really pull well in the field or on the track. I run both an M an a M-Diesel with 14.9's. If they are not available you can use the 13.6's or go to a 14 inch rim with the 15.5 tires. New cost here is about 375 each. Migraine

I HAVE RAN BOTH 13.6 AND 14.9,S ON MY "M",S. I LIKE THE 14.9,S ON A TWELVE INCH RIM THE BEST. LOOKS GOOD AND PULLS GREAT. IF YOU WILL LOOK ON THE INTERNET FOR TIRE TOWN TIRES,( I THINK THEY ARE IN KANSAS) THEY ADVERTIZE NEW, USED, AND REJECT TIRES AT THE BEST PICES I,VE FOUND. GOOD LUCK.
