Hey guys ,My H started dripping oil between the muffler and manifold The engine doesn't smoke starts right up runs smooth,don't know where it's comming from and why wouldn't it mess up the carburator

You might ry taking the tractor out and making it work hard for awhile, get the temperature up into the run position on the guage and keep it there for at least 30 minutes. Sounds like maybe it just needs the soot blown out.

Are you positive it is oil? If it is a black sooty liquid, it is more than likely condesation mixed with carbor deposits and unburnt fuel. If it is oil the only explaination that I can think of is bad rings but then the tractor would be blowing bluish smoke. Black smoke indicates to rich a fuel mixture setting on the carb.
