I have a puller but can not get the pully off the crankshaft. I chipped a piece off the pully trying to get it off. The manual shows a piece that goes behind the pully to pull against. Where do I find this piece or how do you remove this darn thing? Thanks

Go to page 2 on this forum and look for a posting
by MACE on removing a pulley from a Farmall A.
Read my posting and look at those web sites for Cub pulley pullers using a hydraulic jack. Hal

The piece be hind the pully is called a bearing seperater. you will need that and a good large 2 jaw puller.I would get a snap-on,mac or s&k.the cheap ones will bend.ben there and done that.aiso you will need a grade 8 bolt to put in the end of ccrank to pull against.to put it back on you will screw a threaded rod in the crank heavy washer and nut.
