I was using my M the other day to plow with a three bottom in pretty heavy soil. When under a heavy load and the throttle up near full the RPMs were pulsing up & down. Like I was giving it gas then backing off and right back on again every couple of seconds or so. With no load or a light load it doesn't do it. At lower throttle settings it doesn't do it. I'm thinking it's the governor but where to look. Could it be just and adjustment or do I need a rebuild. I want to get it running right cause I'm planning on bringing it to a local antique pull. Thanks for any suggestions.

I am pretty sure all you need is a little stronger spring on the governor.

if you have the carb with the screw on the bottom, crank that out a turn or two and try again.. heavy work requires more fuel,,,,

Very slight possibly adjusting the carb will help but I doubt it. I think it's time for some governor work.
