someone has been playing with the magneto on an A that i am working on. How do you time the little gears inside the mag to match the timing on the tractor?

The little gears have timing marks that match each other. You DO NOT time the mag to the tractor with the "little gears inside the mag. Those marks time the rotor position to the opening of the points.
