Does anyone have any information about the Char Lynn power steering unit that was used on a Farmall 'M' tractor and where I could find one?
Thanks...

Here's an on-line source. They're a good outfit, and have been around a long time. I haven't shopped around lately, though, so I don't know if the price is competitive.

Check the classified adds section. Do you want to buy one as there are several dea;ers that have them prices usually are 500 and up depending whether uyou want the pump also.

Hi Gene...Yes I am looking to buy one and the only one found in the classifieds turned out to be for a John Deere. Can the existing belly pump be used to run the Char Lynn torque generator?
I also sent you an email...Thanks

The belly pump would need to be engaged at all times to make the power steering work. Probably not a good idea. Plus, the power steering would quit everytime you pushed in the clutch. I have been told that a power steering pump from a Ford pick-up truck will work very well with the Char-Lynn system.
