How do you take a single stage IH hydraulic cylinder apart? The one end turns but does not thread out. It has a slot in the body near the turning end. Your help would be appreciated, Thanks

There is a square wire that has a 90 degree bend in it that fits into a hole in the cap and there is a hole that you take a small screw driver and lift the one end out of the hole and turn the wire out if you have not broken the bend off it will come wright out but if you done did breake the end off , BOY ARE YOU IN FOR SOME FUN . After you get the wire out then it just pops apart . If you are planing to rebuild it Hone it with a cylinder hone with a med. fine stones to give the new O/RING to set . I have done many of them as i would by cylinders at sales and rebuild them for resale . Just got done doing the one on the plow and my buddy tryed to do it before i got there and he snaped the end off it took me over a half hour to get it out.
