240 was made from about 1958 to '61 or '62
Never heard of a 260.

They did not make a 260 but they did make a 240 in International and farmall the Farmall 240 looks like a small 460. We have one and really like it was offered $1800.00 for it but I would not take less then $2500.00 Like I said it looks like a small 460 only you set forward like a utility tractor Ours has power steering factory 3point hitch, front hydrulic outlets but no live power or TA, It has 11.2.36 rear tires and 5.00x15 front tires weights is about 3500# Has a 122.7 cubic inch engine and has about 28HP was built back in 1959 a real handy dandy tractor to have. P.S. was told there was only about 3500 of them built in Row crop, utility and orchard modles so there a little rare beings several have died over the years, Hope I help some. Thanks Spud

Spud,
If you're willing to sell that 240, let me know where you're located. My brother has talked about buying one. E-mail should be open. Thanks

The 240 is a handy little tractor, along the lines of an 8N Ford, with more power and options. Some do have live hydraulics (add on or factory?) but I have never seen one with live or independent PTO, might be out there but I haven't seen one. They are SLOW in road gear (4th) about 12-13 mph but are good mower, raking, blading tractor. They do have power steering so adding a small loader is feasible. They are light, only 3300 pounds, makes them easy to transport.
