I have a 1945 farmall H. This web site sells kits but only saw kits for the M and Super M. Where is the best place to buy one for the money and easy to read instructions. Thanks!

I would recomend putting the kit togeather your self....If you will look over on the left side of this page you will see " RESEARCH & INFO "....right under that is "ARTICLES"....click on articles and scan thru until you come upon 6v to 12v articles.....look them over until you find the one writter by Bob Melville....He tells you step by step on how to do the change over and a list of parts needed....the Farmall "H" has a tighter fit than the "M".....so I recomend a smsller Alt.
The Hitachi #14231 Alt.is the smallest one I have seen....NAPA PART #2138130 Cost $49.95 Plus a core. It was used on'78-'79 Nissan 620 pickup and '80 - 720 w/ 2 liter engine...its 4 1/2" in dia. and 7" long...IF you don't have a core ,a new one may cost about the same...Hope this helps...Don
