I cut down a chev 4speed and mounted it in the torque tube. 2nd gear in the four speed is a 2to 1 reduction, I removed all the excess gears and welded it in second. at3600 rpm in the V6 the transmission input shaft in the tractor is turning 1800, so the ground speed in the H is standard.

Nice looking job on it. Did you put another tranny in to let the engine run a little faster than the original? Looks like it would be a smooth running machine.
