Did they also make M's that run on Kerosene ? If so what years were they.

Yes, I have one. She's a 1944 M. I have worked her all day on Kerosene once she got hot enough to switch her over. Start on gas with the shutter closed and get her hot then switch her from gas to kerosene. It will run just like as if she was on gas and cleaner with little no no exhaust.

most letter series IH has kerosene distillate option a lower compression head was used along with a hot manifold to vaporize fuel properly i think it was available into the early 50,s.

Actually was available all the way up through the Farmall 450.
