Hey guys, my last post is on page 3 already... and just to clarify, this is the LIVE hydraulics, the engine-driven Liftall, not the belly pump.

Yep, there's something wrong in the Liftall reservoir. Got no spring-back on the lever, and only two positions...

Where can I find a breakdown of the unit? Does the I&T manual have an assembly drawing?

You can cut and paste your old post into this one, if you want to use it for reference. The IH parts manual will tell you all you need to know about assembly -- Case-IH has parts. Assuming you have the stage 2 hydraulics, and not an add on distributer mounted pump, you must have something attached to it when you pull the lever Otherwise its a sealed system with no vent and you will or have damaged something. If you have the remote valve, you have to have the main lever locked back for the remote to work as mentioned in the other post. Make sure you have oil in the system. If the resevoir is under the tank, it is not hard to work on, the hardest part is getting the inside part of the control lever hooked up correctly, because you have to work blind -- you cannot see inside as you put the cover on.
