I dunno, this reminds me of the springs when I was just a wee lad, pulling a 3-14 plow behind the M and freezing my butt off because two days earlier I took the comfort cover off (against my dad’s advice) because it was too hot. Seems we were plowing for corn. It seems to me my dad also said that you had to plant your small grain in “shirt sleeves” and your corn in a “sheepskin” if you wanted a crop. Yesterday was definitely “sheepskin” weather if you ask me...maybe it really is time to be planting the corn?

Was lookin' at two circles of spring wheat yesterday. Boy, that's some sad lookin' stuff.

This is just a cold, late spring, fellas; part of the game of rollin' the dice.
