The control that moves the fast hitch up & down works fine but the lever that adjusts the light to heavy will not move, its stuck on heavy. Any idea's why?

Be very careful excercising that lever if it is frozen with rust. It will twist that shaft off slicker than you can believe. That becomes a major problem that will become very expensive to replace. Replaced many of them for that very reason. The friction discs become frozen from dissuse. Good luck.

FM,

Loosen that friction clutch at the lever base and see if it will move then. Might be stuck and rusted up from non-use.

Allan never use mine on the 766, or 886. David
