We also went to look at an AC HD7 dozer with a huge blade; it runs well and has just had the steering clutches replaced. What should I look at concerning the track pads? Asking price is $2500. Is this a good price? I'd also like to see picture of what it should look like fixed up. Thanks kev

You need to check the track tightener and make sure it can be adjusted. The picture in the other follow up shows a track that is about to fall off.As soon as you get down in a creek or pond that track will fall off and that aint good.
Our hd5 has both adjusters froze up tried heat and a6" pipe on wrench they won"t give
