Great to meet the Cowman himself. Boys they don't make em better. Hope I get a chance to meet him again someday! Isn't that a pretty rig he's got?

Good mornigs friends. Got home safe and sound about 1:30 AM after pushin pretty hard. Yes, it's the little Hemi with 4.10 gears, takes a lot of $2 gas and I ran about 65 most of the way. I've got straight dual exaust on it and just roll down the window and turn off the radio, they just don't make music any sweeter than that.

Not Zckly there. Him and I both facing each other on different sides of the fence admiring the other's horses and things just got outa hand I suppose. Someday it looks like I'll have another F-30 parked in the stable.

All right now, spill the beans.

Heard by the grapevine that there was quite a bit of hot tractor swappin' going on this weekend down Iowa way. Anything to the rumor? :>)

You bet that is a classy outfit; just like the ol' boy who owns 'er. :>)

It is a hemi. I would prefer a duramax, or a gmc with an international diesel, but they dont make em!

I'm guessing hemi by the length of the badge behind the headlight, but for towing why would anyone want anything besides a cummins?

Don't get me wrong, I love the DT engines and the ungodly levels of power they are capable of, I just don't like the packaging.

understand that, the newest Ford I'd have is a 1997,don't care for the Superduties that much and think they ruined the powerstroke/T444E when they dropped into the Fords

I'd tell you I don't like it when I can hear every valve rattle on long extended trips but I miss the old 79 brigadier I rolled last summer. 6-71t detroit 13 speed eaton fuller trans. I don't get ticked off when I think about it any more but I still miss it. If I had a pic I'd try to get it posted but I only got after photos. They were calling me iga it's the biggest peice of the brigadier badge they could find. All the cab lights made it though they are going on my pickup. Just wish I could find a spare or 2 first they have a rubber base with a plastic 1/4-turn lense, and I've only ever seen them on the old brigs.

Hi Dave,

It started life as a two wheel drive '78 Big 10.

Over the years it's gained a bunch of updates. All '95 Suburban 4x4 running gear and a buick air conditioner in it now.

Allan sounds like my 1986 Ford came out as a F250 2wheel drive, 6.9L diesel, 4spd, single rear wheel, and I made it a F350 dually 4x4,7.3L, 5spd heavy duty truck to pull a 350 bushel grain trailer, and to push snow, when and if we ever get any around here. David
